Lamborghini Revuelto: The Hybrid V12 Supercar Roaring Into a New Era

 

The Lamborghini Revuelto marks a bold new chapter for the brand — a plug-in hybrid supercar that merges the iconic power of a V12 engine with the instant torque of electric motors. It’s Lamborghini’s first High-Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV), delivering extreme performance with futuristic engineering.

At its core, the Revuelto uses a newly developed 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, paired with three electric motors — two at the front and one at the rear. Together, they create an astonishing 1,015 CV (around 1,001 hp), making it one of the most powerful Lamborghinis ever built.

The performance numbers are as dramatic as expected:

  • 0–100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds

  • Top speed exceeding 350 km/h

Instead of a conventional layout, the Revuelto uses a unique 8-speed dual-clutch transmission mounted transversely to improve balance and optimize weight distribution. The hybrid system also uses regenerative braking to recover energy. With 13 driving mode combinations, the car adapts seamlessly — from quiet electric glide to full-throttle V12 performance.

Design-wise, the Revuelto evolves Lamborghini’s signature sharp, aggressive shape into something even more futuristic. Aerodynamic sculpting, bold surfaces, and extensive use of carbon fiber give it a lightweight yet powerful presence on the road.

Inside, the car features an advanced, driver-focused cockpit with three digital screens — one for the driver, one central display, and one for the passenger. The interior blends race-inspired elements with luxury, using lightweight materials and modern design cues.

Handling is enhanced by an intelligent control system that combines torque vectoring, rear-wheel steering, and predictive grip technology. This ensures the Revuelto stays stable, sharp, and thrilling in every driving scenario.
